XL97: Additional Controls Dialog Box Disappears (163270)

SYMPTOMS

When you display the Additional Controls dialog box in the Microsoft Visual Basic Editor, the following problems may occur:
  • When you press ALT+TAB to switch to another program, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic Editor fail to appear in the window. -or-

  • When you switch to Microsoft Excel and then switch to the Visual Basic Editor, the Additional Controls dialog box disappears.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Excel 2000.
