MORE INFORMATION

FrontPage Web Publishing Wizard

The FrontPage Web Publishing Wizard is an add-on utility for FrontPage 1.1. It automates file selection from your FrontPage Webs and posts files to any FTP server.

Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard

The Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard is a stand-alone utility that can function with or without FrontPage and can be used to post any files to the majority of Web servers using HTTP, FTP, or Windows file sharing. It has built-in settings for many popular Internet service providers, and it can be configured for additional settings for any Web server with one of the following configurations:
  • The FrontPage Server Extensions.
  • A Windows File Share mapped into an HTTP server.
  • An FTP share mapped into an HTTP server.
  • It can post directly to many standard HTTP servers without the FrontPage Extensions.
The Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard is capable of publishing individual files or entire directories when you start it from the Windows 95 Start or Send To menus. When it is started from FrontPage, it has the added capability of posting only files within a given web that have changed since the last posting.
