The Neverhood will not run on Windows NT 4.0 even if DirectX 3.0 is properly installed.

The Setup program for The Neverhood searches specifically for Windows 95/98 on the computer. Setup will not continue if Windows 95/98 is not found. The system requirements listed on the product box state that Windows 95 is required. The only workaround at this time is to set up your Windows NT computer to dual-boot with Windows 95/98.
