SUMMARY

Microsoft Money provides direct support for Quicken checks; however, some Quicken printing features are not supported in Money.

Support for Quicken checks is an option in Money. You can use the Quicken Import Wizard to turn on this option.

To turn it on manually, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Print Checks tab, make sure the Use my existing checks from Quicken check box is selected.
  3. Click OK.
Quicken check types will now be available in the Check Setup dialog box.

The following Quicken features are not supported in Money:
  • Printing logos on checks
  • Editing the default font for printed checks (in versions previous to Money 99); Money uses the Courier New font to print checks
  • Specifying paper orientation for partial sheets of checks; Money prints partial sheets in landscape orientation on all sheet-fed printers.
  • Printer Auto-Detect; using Money, you must select the correct check type for your printer.
