Cannot Save Changes to Phone Number (156543)

SYMPTOMS

When you enter a phone number in the dialer and then change the phone number, the number is not saved when you quit the dialer.

CAUSE

The phone number cannot be changed and saved in the Connect To dialog box.

RESOLUTION

To change and save a phone number, follow these steps:
  1. Double-click the appropriate connectoid.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. On the General tab, type the new phone number in the Telephone Number box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click Close to close the connectoid.
  6. Click Yes when you are prompted to save the changes.
