The Publisher 97 compact disc includes a copy of Microsoft Internet
Explorer for Windows 95, version 2.0. This is useful if you do not
have a Web Browser installed on your computer and want to preview
World Wide Web pages you create in Publisher.
Internet Explorer is not installed by Publisher Setup.
MORE INFORMATION
On the Publisher 97 compact disc there is a folder called
\Msie20\Win95. This folder contains a single program named Msie20.exe.
Run this program to install Internet Explorer 2.0 on your computer.
NOTE: You can use Internet Explorer to view World Wide Web pages that
you create and save on your local drive. You cannot use Internet
Explorer 2.0 to view pages on the World Wide Web unless you also have
an Internet service provider.
This copy of Internet Explorer runs on only Windows 95. It does not
run on Windows 3.1, Windows NT Workstation, or on Apple Macintosh
computers.
Microsoft Publisher 97 was manufactured before the release of
Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 3.0. Therefore, Publisher
includes version 2.0.
