General Protection Fault in Mshtml16.dll Opening PDF File (155718)

If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, you may receive a general
protection (GP) fault error message when you open a Portable Document
Format (.pdf) file using Internet Explorer 3.03 for Windows 3.1.
RESOLUTION
This issue is resolved by the following updated file:
Mshtml16.dll build 2931, dated 01/30/98, 1,079,040 bytes
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer version
3.03 for Windows 3.1. An update to address this problem is now available,
but is not fully regression tested and should be applied only to computers
experiencing this specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by
this specific problem, Microsoft does not recommend implementing this
update at this time. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for additional
information about the availability of this update.
