PRJ41: Many Direct Cell Formats Can Cause Hang (155260)

SYMPTOMS

Applying direct cell formatting up to the approximate 7500-cell limit causes Microsoft Project to stop and sometimes produces an error message similar to the following:
WINPROJ caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0137:bff782ae

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, you must upgrade to Microsoft Project for Windows 95 version 4.1a. This upgrade is free to registered users and can be obtained by calling Microsoft Technical Support at (425)635-7155.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project for Windows 95 version 4.1a.
