TMGR: How to Move Personal Task List to New Computer (152322)

SUMMARY

If you need to move the Microsoft Team Manager for team members application to a new computer, you must do the following:

  1. On the new computer, run Setup for Microsoft Team Manager.
  2. Select Team Manager for team members Setup.
  3. Choose the appropriate messaging configuration.
Your manager will need do the following to Resend ALL tasks previously sent to you:

  1. Click Send Updates on the Tools menu.
  2. From the Send drop-down list, select Resend all Tasks.
  3. Click the appropriate name in the To list.
  4. Click Send Now. Click Send.

MORE INFORMATION

The file Mtmtask.mtt is used by the Microsoft Team Manager for team members application to store task information. Moving this file to a new computer will not transfer your data to that computer. You must have your manager Resend all previous messages to you.
