This article was previously published under Q152241 SYMPTOMS When a transaction is split in Money 5.0 or later and a
change is made to one of the split entry amounts, the total transaction amount
(the sum of the split entries) is changed automatically in the register.
There is no warning that the total transaction amount will be
changed nor that an adjustment must be made to the transaction's total amount.
CAUSE Money assumes that if a change or correction is made to an
amount in the Split dialog box, that the total amount entered in the register
is also to be changed or undated. STATUS This
behavior is by design.
