This section states that the ability to route incoming faxes to individual Exchange mailboxes was a planned feature for Small Business Server. However it was not included in the released product. Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server can not route incoming faxes to individual Exchange mailboxes whether a special modem is used or not.

Since this feature was not included with Small Business Server, the Send via e-mail option is not present on the Receive tab, as the manual states.

This section states the location of the Setup program for the Modem Sharing Client Software is in the Modemshr folder. Setup.exe is located in the Modemshr\Wfw folder. The full universal naming convention (UNC) path is the following:

\\<ServerName>\Clients\Ms\Modemshr\Wfw\Setup.exe

When you point your browser to the location specified http://<servername>/intranet/SBSClientHelp), you receive the following error:
HTTP/1.0 403 Access Forbidden
The above location uses Default.asp as its default page; however, Default.htm is the only default document set in the World Wide Web (WWW) properties. Use the following steps to resolve this issue:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Internet Server (Common), and then click Internet Service Manager.
  2. Click the WWW service entry and click Service Properties on the Properties menu.
  3. Click the Directories tab and add Default.asp to the Default Document list.

NOTE: Using a comma separator, such as:

    Default.htm, Default.asp
