TMGR: No Error Checking for Duplicate Shortcut Keys (149881)

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Team Manager does not check for duplicate shortcut keys in custom menus. If you edit a custom menu and add an item or items with the same shortcut key, Team Manager does not generate an error message. The items are added to the menu, but the functionality of the duplicated shortcut key is lost.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
