TMGR: If Overtime Limit Is Set to 24 hrs Total Work Is 32 Hrs (148696)

If Daily overtime limit per day is set to 24 hours, and the person is also
scheduled for 8 hours of regular work, the total work for that person, for
that day, is 32 hours.
CAUSE
On the People tab under the Working Times view, you can set the maximum
Daily overtime limit to 24 hours. If the task allows for overtime and if If
Needed is selected in Overtime Allowed, and the deadline is such that
overtime is needed to complete the task on time, the total work for the
first day of the task could total 32 hours.
WORKAROUND
When setting the maximum Daily overtime limit, take into consideration the
amount of regular time the person is scheduled to work, so that regular
time plus the overtime does not exceed 24 hours in a day.
