Status Bar May Move After Screen Resolution Changed (147879)

When you change your monitor resolution setting to a higher resolution
(for example 640x480 to 832x624) the status bar may appear to be
floating in the middle of the screen.
To return the status bar to its normal position, at the bottom of the
screen, you need to refresh the display.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs only if PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh is running
when you change the screen resolution.
RESOLUTION
To restore the status bar to its proper location, use one the following
methods.
Method 1: Clear and then reselect the Status Bar check box in the Options
dialog box:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Under View, clear the Status Bar check box.
- Click OK.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Select the Status Bar check box.
- Click OK to restore the status bar.
Method 2: Quit and restart PowerPoint.
Method 3: Restart the Macintosh.
