Moving Appointment Double Books Schedule+ 1.0 Appts. (147479)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Schedule+ for Windows 7.0
This article was previously published under Q147479 SYMPTOMS
When you move appointments created in Schedule+ version 7.0 that have been
accepted by Schedule+ version 1.0 users, the Schedule+ version 1.0 users
may see the appointments twice.
WORKAROUND
When you use Schedule+ version 7.0 to reschedule an appointment that has
Schedule+ version 1.0 users attending, delete the appointment and recreate
it. This will send the Schedule+ version 1.0 users cancellation
notification and then a new invitation to the appointment at the correct
time.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Schedule+ version
7.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
Moving an appointment in Schedule+ version 7.0 will cause a new appointment
request to be sent to a Schedule+ version 1.0 user. The previously
scheduled appointment will not be deleted when the new appointment request
is processed by Schedule+ version 1.0. This will cause Schedule+ version
1.0 to have two appointments---one at the old time and one at the new time.
