Cannot Publish Chart Object from a Visual Basic Macro (147302)

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 5.0, you cannot publish a chart object out of Microsoft Excel to the system using a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications macro. Although a chart can be manually selected and published, running the Visual Basic for Applications code will result in one of the following error messages:
Run-time error '1001':
ChartObject does not have CreatePublisher Method

or

Run-time error '424':
Object Required

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 5.0. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
