This article describes how to customize your Account Transaction Report to show splits with classifications.

To customize your Account Transaction Report, use the appropriate method for your version of Money.

Money 99 or Later

  1. In Money, click Reports on the navigation bar, and then click Reports Gallery.

    Money 99 and 2000 users, click Reports only.
  2. In the left pane, click Spending Habits.

    Click Account Transactions, and then click Go To Report/Chart.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. On the Rows & Columns tab, select the classification you want under Include Fields.
  5. Make sure that the Show Splits check box is selected.
  6. Click Apply, and then click View to return to the report.
Now the report, in addition to displaying all the split information, is customized to view the selected classifications.

Money 98

  1. In Money, click Reports on the navigation bar.
  2. In the left pane, click Spending Habits.

    Click Account Transactions, and then click Go To Report/Chart.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. In the Customize Report dialog box, select the classification you want under Include Fields.
  5. Make sure the Show Splits check box is selected.
  6. Click Apply, and then click View to return to the report.
Now the report, in addition to displaying all the split information, is customized to view the selected classifications.

Money 97

  1. In Money click Go To, and then click Report And Chart Gallery.
  2. In the Report And Chart Gallery, point to Spending Habits, point to Account Transactions, and then click Go To Report/Chart.
  3. In the Report View, click Customize.
  4. In the Customize Report dialog box, under Include Fields, make sure you select the classification you want.
  5. Make sure that the Show Splits check box is selected.
  6. Click View to return to the report.
  7. Now the report, in addition to displaying all the split information, is customized to view the selected classifications.
Note When you view reports with splits broken out, the report appears double-spaced for transactions that don't Split as the category.
