PUB: Pressing F1 Does Not Start Help in Publisher 95 and 97 (138357)

SYMPTOMS

If you press the F1 key while in Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, nothing happens. If you press the F1 key while you are in many other programs, the Help topics for that program appear.

RESOLUTION

Publisher for Windows 95 uses the SHIFT+F1 key to start Help. In addition, if you press CTRL+F1, the Help Index starts.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
