SYMPTOMS
If you try to delete the My Documents folder, one of the following error
messages appears.
In Microsoft Windows 95
My Documents is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows
to run properly. It cannot be deleted.
In Microsoft Windows 98
My Documents is your documents folder. It cannot be deleted. If you wish
to delete this folder, first choose another folder to be your documents
folder.
NOTE: In Microsoft Windows 98, if you remove the My Documents icon from the
desktop, the My Documents folder is not removed. The icon on the desktop is
only a shortcut to the My Documents folder.
If you try to delete the Recycled folder, you receive a similar error
message.

- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the File Locations tab.
- Click Documents, and then click Modify.
- Type the path that you want the program to use for opening
and saving files.
- Click OK, and then click Close.
