MORE INFORMATION

The printers were tested with the Windows 95 printer drivers.

The margins for most dot-matrix printers are .07" for the top, bottom and header. The margin for footer can be set to 0".

When setting up pages, Works takes into account the unprintable region of a printer. This information is supplied to Works by the printer driver and can be different for each printer. If you set the left and right margins to zero, Works takes into account the left and right unprintable regions when the document is displayed. In the From Edge section of the Page Setup dialog box, the value for the Header margin and Footer margin are the actual unprintable regions of the printer driver.
