SYMPTOMS

If you customize the printer properties for a particular publication and then run the Outside Print Setup Wizard, the proof printer properties are reset to the default values.

CAUSE

In Publisher 3.0 for Windows 95, this behavior occurs by design.

When you run the Outside Printer Setup Wizard, the printer you select in the Wizard becomes the new target printer for your publication. All the printer drivers available in the Proof Printer Setup dialog box will have the properties that have been set in the Windows Control Panel.
