PRB: Setup Failure with EZ-Drive Utility (136728)

SYMPTOMS

The setup program for Visual FoxPro 3.0 does not function properly when running on a computer with the following characteristics:

  • The operating system is Windows for Workgroups version 3.11.
  • 32-bit file access is on.
  • The computer has a Seagate enhanced drive (ST-31220A).
  • The EZ-Drive Utility program is installed. This program is used to support hard drives that are larger than 504MB.

WORKAROUND

Disable 32-bit file access in Windows for Workgroups.
