SYMPTOMS

When you run the Workgroup Message Handler Setup (Wgsetup.exe), the Setup program requests Disk 2 after it copies files from Disk 1.

CAUSE

When the Workgroup Message Handler Setup is 98-percent complete, and it copies the VBRUN300.DLL file, a dialog box appears with the following message:
Insert the disk labeled 'Microsoft Project Setup: Disk 2' into drive A:

Some disks may not be required for the selected installation options.
With the files required to run the Microsoft Project Setup program and the Workgroup Setup program, there is not enough disk space on Microsoft Project Setup Disk 1 to store all of the files necessary to install the Workgroup Message Handler also. Because of this lack of space, the Vboa300.dll and Vbrun300.dll files, used by the Workgroup Setup program, are located on the Microsoft Project Setup Disk 2.

The Microsoft Project Readme Help file indicates that the Workgroup Setup program is available on the first Microsoft Project floppy disk. However, the Help file does not indicate that you will need to use Disk 2 as well when you install the Workgroup Message Handler.
