SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows NT version 3.5 on a Dell Omniplex computer with a built-in NCR 53C810 PCI SCSI controller, the hard-disk activity light remains on. The hard disk drive operates properly and is not affected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
