SYMPTOMS

When you customize any of the following reports, by using the Select Transactions option, the report does not include transfer transactions, or Buy Investment transactions, and possibly not transactions with blank categories:
  • Account Transactions Report
  • Monthly Cash Flow Report or Monthly Income and Expense Report depending on your version of Money
  • Income vs. Spending Report or Income and Spending Report depending on your version of Money

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you do not select the All Categories option.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
  • Use an Investment Transactions report instead of an Account Transactions (or equivalent, depending on the version of Money) Report.
  • Customize the Account Transactions (or equivalent) Report and set the Category Selection to All Categories.

MORE INFORMATION

Money treats a Buy Investment transaction as a transfer. To show Buy Investment transactions in a report, customize the report to show transfers.
