List of Corrections That This Update Provides

The updated Timesheet program provides the following corrections to the original version:

  • When you enter a new Finish date on a resource assignment, the error message "The date you entered is not in a recognized date format" does not appear.
  • You can update resource assignments with more than 546 hours of work. In addition, you can update other assignments of this resource.
  • When you assign resources to the same task multiple times, Microsoft Project updates all of the assignments.
  • Microsoft Project correctly calculates Overtime Work and Resume dates for resource assignments with Units greater than one.
  • The Default Hours Per Day and Default Hours Per Week values are based on the current project settings instead of the default Microsoft Project settings.
  • Timesheet attempts to use the date format selected in Microsoft Project. (Note that an error message appears if this format cannot be recognized by a Microsoft Visual Basic application.)
  • Vertical scroll bars are displayed correctly at all times. (In earlier versions of Timesheet, the down arrow on a vertical scroll bar was sometimes cut off and was therefore inaccessible.)
