SUMMARY

This article describes how you can remove NetManage Chameleon32NFS for Windows NT. Please contact NetManage technical support for further assistance.

MORE INFORMATION

To remove Chameleon32NFS from your Windows NT system:
  1. Log on to Windows NT as a member of the Administrators group.
  2. Insert the original Cham32NFS Setup floppy disk and run Setup. At this point, Setup should detect the previously-installed product.
  3. When Setup asks if you want to overwrite the previously installed product, choose Yes. Setup first disables the NFS services, allowing you to manually delete the executable files later.
  4. When an "NFS has been removed" message appears and you are prompted to do so, reboot your computer.
  5. Once your system has been rebooted, you can manually delete the following Chameleon32NFS product files or use a script:
          rd /s c:\netmanag
          del %systemroot%\system32\nfscp.cpl
          del %systemroot%\system32\nfs.hlp
          del %systemroot%\system32\rpc.dll
