This article was previously published under Q121019 SYMPTOMS
The following problems may occur when you print a large database to a file when using the Generic/Text print driver:
- Blank lines are added to the top of the document and within the
document where page breaks may occur.
- Records are deleted and replaced by the blank lines.
RESOLUTION
Create a database report, and print to a file from the report definition.
The data will be double-spaced and will still contain the blank lines, but
no data will be lost.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
