This article was previously published under Q111801 SYMPTOMS
When you enter decimal numbers for some measurements in Works, you may get unexpected sizes. For example, setting the distance between lines to 2.5 lines in the Word Processor module may result in approximately 2 inches between lines or 12 inches. Similar problems may occur in the Spreadsheet module when setting row height, column width, or margins using decimal values.
This problem occurs if the International setting in Windows is set to a
Country that uses a comma for a decimal point. If this is the case,
Works does not recognize a period as being a decimal point, causing an
incorrect result when you enter decimal measurements in Works.
