Choosing Workbook from Window Menu Doesn't Maximize It (111090)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Excel for Windows 95 7.0a
- Microsoft Excel for Windows 5.0c
This article was previously published under Q111090 SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Excel activating a workbook by selecting it from the Window
menu will not restore the workbook's window if the workbook is already the
active workbook and it is minimized (when you select the Window menu, the
active workbook will have a check mark next to it).
This behavior is different from Microsoft Excel version 4.0.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do either of the following: - Double click the workbook's icon or press the ENTER key to restore the
window for that workbook. If you need to select the workbook using the
keyboard, press the F6 key until the workbook is selected. (If you want
to maximize the workbook, press CTRL+F10.)
-or-
- Activate any other workbook first.
STATUS
