NetDDE and RAS Connections (110315)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows NT Server 3.1
- Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 3.1
- Microsoft Windows NT Advanced Server 3.1
This article was previously published under Q110315 SUMMARY
When you attempt to use NetDDE over a Windows NT Remote Access Service
(RAS) connection, the session can be started only by one of the systems.
The system that can start the session is usually the one who dials into a
RAS server. On the other system, a "Machine Name Not Found" error message
appears.
