In Microsoft Excel, only the first 100 defined names are listed in
the name box.
This 100-name limit is by design so that you can quickly define names on a
worksheet from the name box. The greater the number of names listed in the
name box, the longer it takes to define or display a name using the name
box.
NOTE: The names in the name box are listed in alphabetical order.
