In Word, different multilevel numbering schemes can be used in one
document. To restart the numbering from a certain number, there must be an
unnumbered paragraph before the group of paragraphs you want to renumber.
To have two groups of paragraphs with different numbering formats, a
section break must be inserted between the two groups. To choose a
numbering scheme select the Format menu, choose Bullets and Numbering and
select the Numbered tab.
