This component is only for Delphi 4 (standard, professional, client/server).

The component can open/close all DataSets and all components that inherits from
TDataSet. After you drop the component on a TDataModule or TForm double click
on it or click the right mouse button and choose <Tables Editor ...>, there you can
select the DataSets from left list (multiple select) and move them to the right list.
All the DataSets on the right list will be opened with one command.

You can choose to sort the list of DataSets to open or you can rearrange the order
of opening.

If a DataSet don't have a DatabaseName chosen you can click the right mouse button on
the list and choose to <Browse for Databases>. A dialog will open where you can choose the
Alias, Database or path to your database. (the dialog would not open if a group of
DataSets are selected or no DataSet selected).
 

TRSIOpenTables
 

Properties	Active Boolean True = open DataSets. False = close DataSets. Tables TTableList All the DataSets that will be opened/closed.
Events	OnBeforeOpen TNotifyEvent Executes before DataSets opened. OnAfterOpen TNotifyEvent Executes after DataSets opened. OnError TErrorEvent Executes when an error occurs on  opening the DataSet.
Methods	Open Open all the DataSets in the open group. Close Close all the DataSets in the open group.

Installation:
 

1.	Run Delphi 4.
2.	Choose at menu <Component>.
3.	Under <Component> choose <Install Packages ...>.
4.	A dialog will open named Project Options, press on <Add ...> button, a dialog will open named Add Design Package, choose the file OpenTables.bpl (from the folder you open into the zipped file) and press on <open>.
5.	Press on <OK>.

A tab named [RSI - Data] will be added to the components palette.
