This level of the V3.x TCP/IP stack requires:
     MPTS CSD WR08210, and TCP/IP CSD U200067 or UN00959

    Note: WR08210 has been superceded by MPTS FixPak WR08415.
          If you have installed WR08415 or if you've installed the MPTS for
          OS/2 Comm Server (version 5.11, CSD level WR08410), you MUST
          get the latest TCP/IP V4 stack service. DO NOT install the V3.x
          TCP/IP stack service if you have the V4 TCP/IP stack!

          To check, issue the following command from an OS/2 command prompt:
             INETVER

          If the output is 3.0xx, you have a Version 3 TCP/IP stack. You
          can install the latest V3.x TCP/IP stack service.

          If the output is 4.xxx, you have a Version 4 stack. DO NOT install
          V3.x TCP/IP stack service!


To apply this fix, unzip the self extracting executable:

     IC18939 .

Note that the '.' is important because it will unzip into the current path.

To install:

    - Place all *.SYS files in the MPTN\PROTOCOL\  subdirectory.
    - Place TCPIP.NIF in the IBMCOM\PROTOCOL\  subdirectory.
    - Place INETCFG.EXE and INETWAIT.EXE in the MPTN\BIN\  subdirectory.
    - Place all *.DLL files in the MPTN\DLL\  subdirectory.

      Note: the .DLL files may be locked by the system. The following
      instructions will walk you through the procedure for replacing
      these files:
        1. Reboot the system.
        2. As soon as your system begins to boot, and you see the OS2
           with a small white block in the upper left corner of your screen,
           depress the ALT key and the F1 key at the same time (ALT-F1).
        3. The Recovery Choices screen should be displayed.
           Select the "C" option to get a command prompt.
        4. Your system will now continue to boot, and should complete with
           an [X:\] prompt, where "X" is your boot drive.
        5. Replace the *.DLL files in the MPTN\DLL\  subdirectory.

    - Reboot the system
    - Issue inetver from a command prompt in an OS/2 window.
      If the version displayed is 3.07r, the new stack has been installed.

This level of the V3.x TCP/IP stack fixes the following problems:

      3.x stack includes fixes for all stack APARs closed since the release
      of MPTS CSD WR08210.
