PC DOS 7 French Setup Diskette Update              APAR IR35303

This update fixes APAR IR35303 for PC DOS 7.

When installing PC DOS to a system that is running OS/2 Warp (3.0 or 4.0)
the PC DOS SETUP program will hang. This fix contains a new SETUP1.OVL file
that prevents this problem.


Who Should Use This Fix
-----------------------

Anyone installing PC DOS 7 to a system that currently has OS/2
installed should replace the SETUP1.OVL file on diskette 1 with this
version.

If you do not install PC DOS to existing OS/2 Warp system you do not
need to install this fix.


Installation
------------

To apply this fix you will need:

            - French PC DOS 7 diskette 1 (Setup).

1. Make a copy of the French PC DOS 7 diskette 1. Store the original
   diskette and apply the update to the copy.

2. Receive the SETUP1.OVL file from IBM.

3. Place the copy of the French PC DOS 7 diskette 1 into Drive A:

4  Copy SETUP1.OVL to the Frech PC DOS 7 diskette 1.


       The fix update is now complete.
