Gloss Mapping
- Want per-pixel specular exponent?
- Wet surfaces, clouds, eroded surfaces, etc...
- Can get similar effect using gloss map
- Texture modulates specular contribution
- Apply diffuse light first (0,0,0 specular)
- Then add in specular lighting (0,0,0 diffuse) modulated by a one-component texture (e.g. GL_ALPHA)
