GIO32 cards
Ethernet cards
There are two additional ethernet cards known to me. One was manufactured by SGI and has a 10MBps AUI port (
1
2
). The second one is manufactured by Phobos and capable of 100MBps (
1). Don't expect too much from it. I have tested a G160 card on a Indigo2 MaxImpact. This machine is lots faster and has the doubled bus width to the card (GIO64), and the fastest transfer I got was 4MByte/sec with a large ftp and 50% CPU load.
Video Cards
Chyron produced the centaur video board, which uses both GIO32 slots. It was a professional solution, but it's hard to find any information about it.
SGI produced two video options, the starter video and Galileo. The starter video was only available for the entry graphics (
1
2
3
). As you can see, it has three S-Video Input and one output. The last supported OS for this video option is IRIX 5.3
