- the operating system: Microsoft Windows NT
This article was previously published under Q185678 SYMPTOMS
If you are replacing NetMeeting's UI, as illustrated in the NetMeeting SDK
sample called NMUI, NetMeeting's UI would still re-appear under certain
circumstance, even though you had replaced it. The original NetMeeting UI
reappears as the result of any Windows change that causes a WM_WININICHANGE
message, such as changing the Taskbar's Auto Hide setting through the
Taskbar's Properties Sheet.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in
NetMeeting, version 2.1.
NOTE: This article documents the resolution of a NetMeeting 2.1 problem
that existed before the release of Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1, which fixed
the problem.
