PLY_SCD-WNT WNTPSAGT_E04B021 PLY Scheduler Agent Windows NT Intel ECO Summ

Copyright (c) Digital Equipment Corporation 1995. All rights reserved. PRODUCT: POLYCENTER Scheduler Agent for Windows NT Intel Version 2.1B OP/SYS: Windows NT Version 3.5 SOURCE: Digital Equipment Corporation ECO INFORMATION: ECO Kit Name: WNTPSAGT_E04B021 ECO Kits Superseded by This ECO Kit: N/A ECO Kit Approximate Size: WNTAGNT.EXE 251512 Bytes ECO KIT SUMMARY: An ECO kit exists for POLYCENTER Scheduler Agent for Windows NT for Intel, V2.1B on Windows NT V3.5. This kit addresses the following problems: Improved Installation procedures that allows the option of using an initialization file to customize the Agent environment. When an agent reached its maximum number of jobs, any additional jobs submitted to the agent would fail instead of entering the Job Slot Wait state. If there was a problem starting a job the job would fail, but the GUI would not reflect the correct failed state. Scheduler returned a remote jobs status of 255 if the output file specification was missing. The Agent would not start as a Service if there were jobs in the JOBREC.DAT file. Records were not written to RECOVERY.TXT. The agent now records information about jobs that were running when it was last shut down in RECOVERY.TXT. INSTALLATION NOTES: The POLYCENTER Scheduler Windows NT Intel Agent kit has been rolled up in a self extracting executable. Before you can install the product, you must first run this executable on your NT system. Create a temporary working directory on your hard drive and copy WNTAGNT.EXE to that location. From File Manager, double click on WNTAGNT.EXE to extract the kit install files. Once the files have been restored, you can begin the installation procedure by running SETUP.EXE.
