MB400_XMR-VMS XMR01012 MAILbus 400 Message Router Gateway V1.2 ECO Summary
NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will
be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for MAILbus 400 Message Router Gateway for OpenVMS
V1.2 on OpenVMS VAX V6.1 or later. This kit addresses the following
problems:
o The Gateway now successfully processes ASN.1 bodyparts.
o Last address term in multiple directory lookups no longer
corrupted.
o The Gateway no longer access violates when processing nondelivery
notifications.
o The Gateway now successfully processes messages with an equals
sign in a message attribute.
o Option of configuring the Gateway so that it does not include
ALL-IN-1 message attribute extensions in the message envelope
has been added.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
In order to use this kit, you must complete the installation procedure
described in
MAILbus 400 Message Router Gateway for OpenVMS VAX: Installing
Enter the following command from the SYSTEM account to execute VMSINSTAL
and install this ECO:
@SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL XMR01012 OPTIONS N
The saveset location may be a tape drive, or a disk directory that
contains the kit saveset.
The system/cluster does not need to be rebooted after this kit is
installed.
