ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for SYSLOA on OpenVMS VAX V6.1. This kit addresses
the following problems:
o BCACHE, CPUs, and other system resources could be disabled
without notification if their failure rate exceeded a certain
threshold.
o The machine check code does not deal with the stack correctly.
Also, the error buffers were formatted incorrectly causing the
error formatter to place erroneous information in the system
log. This made it extremely difficult to track down memory
errors.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system
must be rebooted. If the system is a member of a VAXcluster, the
entire cluster should be rebooted.
