ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for ALL-IN-1 OSO TeamLinks Connection V2.5 for OpenVMS
Alpha V3.1 and OpenVMS V3.1, V3.0A on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 and OpenVMS VAX
V5.5-2. 

The TLC_E01025 Release Notes contain a complete explanation of this release.
Below is a brief description:


    Problem 1)  Never ending hourglass (hang) on TeamLinks for Windows 
    		version 2.5 Client when trying to connect to the remote 
    		file cabinet using TLREMOTE with a 7 bit transport.


    Problem 2)  Frequent hangs or communication errors when in a noisy
            	electrostatic or electromagnetic environment or when using 
            	communications equipment susceptible to noisy environments.

 

INSTALLATION NOTES:

    You do not need to shut down your ALL-IN-1 system for the installation
    of this patch. Existing TeamLinks users do not need to disconnect from
    the ALL-IN-1 IOS server, but note that they should be encouraged to
    completely exit from TeamLinks and reconnect to the ALL-IN-1 IOS server
    as soon as possible after the installation(s) have been completed.
