PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN SNALU0_E02024: This Release is Built with SNAAI V2.4 ECO-04 This kit has been built with updated (V2.4 ECO-04) SNAAI (newAI) protocol support layers. SNAAI V2.4 ECO-04 includes the fixes described in this section. o Missing Symbol Definitions Added There were several kits which were missing SNA symbol definition which caused compile errors while compiling in the Bliss, Macro and Cobol languages. These symbols should now be available. o When programs link with both SNALU0 and SNALU62 shareable images the linker would issue a Multiply Defined PSECT error message. This problem has been corrected. o A problem where the LU would stay in Unbinding state when an Unbind has been received has been corrected. o The SNALOG utility would accvio in a certain race situation when an AST was arriving as it was opening a new log file. This has been corrected. o The hang on calling the routines GAI_CLOSE/SNA_ TERMINATE has been corrected not to occur. PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN SNALU0_E01024: This kit is built with SNAAI V2.4 ECO-02 which includes fixes for the following problems. o GAI_CLOSE would not deallocate channels on abnormal disconnects This has now been corrected and the sna__rcv_callback routine now will deallocate the channels. o Pacing indicator was never being set on first request RH in pacing window when sending data to host. This has now been corrected in the SNA__PAC_RQ_SEND routine. o Pacing not working properly when a pacing value was specified. This has been corrected in the sna__tc_dequeue_q_pac by checking if pacing_count is greater than zero. Previously pacing_window was being checked in error. INSTALLATION NOTES: The system does not need to be restarted after installation. Follow the instructions in the Installation Guide to make the newly installed software active.
