PLY_PSPA PSPAECO01_022 POLYCENTER Performance Advisor V2.2 ECO Summary

 
NOTE:  An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
       on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
       The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
       for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
 
       Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
       by typing RUN compressed_file.  The resultant file will
       be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
       can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for POLYCENTER Performance Advisor for OpenVMS V2.2 on
OpenVMS VAX V5.3 through V6.2 and OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through V6.2.  This
kit addresses the following problems:

      o  This patch corrects an ACCVIO when generating the
         disk section of the Performance Evaluation Report,
         when a disk type (UCB$L_DEVTYPE) is in the range
         154 to 176. (Both VAX and Alpha Platforms)

         ECO #1 to PSPA$ADVISOR.EXE corrects this problem.
         ECO #1 to PSPA$GRAPH.EXE corrects this problem.
         ECO #1 to PSPA$MOTIF.EXE corrects this problem.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

  Install this ECO kit with the VMSINSTAL utility  by  logging  into  the
  SYSTEM account, and typing the following at the DCL prompt:

  @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL PSPAECO01_022 [location of the saveset]

  The saveset location may be a tape drive, or a disk directory  that
  contains the kit saveset.
