However, the MUXserver should be shutdown and restarted in order for all kit changes to take effect. For OpenVMS VAX and Alpha platforms: The ECO kit can be installed with the VMSINSTAL command procedure, as outlined in Chapter 3 of the OpenVMS System Manager's Manual. The ECO kit will copy new versions of all installation files into SYS$SYSROOT:[DECSERVER]. These files are as listed in Appendix A of the MUXserver 320/380/90 Software Installation Guide (OpenVMS). There is no requirement that a previous version of the software have been installed.
