ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for VAX Message Router/S Gateway V1.3 on OpenVMS VAX
V5.5-2 or later. This kit addresses the following problems:
o Prerequisite Version of OpenVMS[TM] for ECO1 for MRS V1.3 is
Version 5.5-2.
o Prerequisite Version of Message Router[TM] for ECO1 for MRS
V1.3 is either Version 3.3 or 3.3A.
o Information about how to connect to the DEC SNA Domain Gateway
or DEC SNA Peer Server
o New logical definition to change the time interval between
checks on the availability of the SNA receive session.
o How to ensure that DCA documents are recognized by all MAIL-
bus[TM] products
o New logical definition to change the names of the MRS subpro-
cesses and new log file message indicating when an MRS subpro-
cess is created.
o MRS no longer discards WPS-PLUS[TM] bodyparts that begin with
two or more blank lines.
o Mail from: field now correctly positioned.
o Empty Subject field no longer causes MRS to access violate
o Queue file should no longer grow rapidly in size.
o Virtual memory error no longer causes MRS to reject IBM [R]
distribution.
o MRS no longer rejects messages when the conversion subprocess
fails.
o New error message displayed when the DECnet[TM] SNA LU6.2 Ser-
vices Bugcheck detects an error.
o New error message displayed when the retry count is exceeded.
o Ownership of some files changed.
