PRE-INSTALLATION WARNING ADVISORY
If you currently have the X.25 V1.1B-ECO3 kit installed
on your system, you MUST remove it prior to installing the
V1.3 kit on your system. The X.25 Version 1.3 installation
procedure does not correctly remove the V1.1B-ECO3 kit. If
you attempt to install X.25 Version 1.3 and you have the
X.25 V1.1B-ECO3 kit installed on your system, the Version
1.3 installation detects this and stops the installation
procedure.
This problem also existed in Version 1.2 software. How-
ever, the Version 1.2 installation procedure did not
detect the V1.1B-ECO3 kit. Instead, it generated warn-
ings and errors during installation and did not properly
install the Version 1.2 software.
If you currently have Version 1.2 software installed, you
do not need to remove any X.25 software before installing
the Version 1.3 ECO-01 software.
