NOTE:  An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
       on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
       The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
       for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
 
       Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
       by typing RUN compressed_file.  The resultant file will
       be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
       can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for 2780/3780 Protocol Emulator for OpenVMS AXP V1.0
on OpenVMS Alpha V6.2. 

Problems addressed in the AXPBSCPTP01010 kit:

  o  Fixed a problem with the RECEIVE/RENAME functionality.

  o  Fixed a problem for performing a "show line" on a shared line from a
     non-privileged account.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

The system/cluster does not need to be rebooted after this kit is 
installed.  

However, the 2780/3780 protocol emulator must be reloaded for fixes to 
be made operational.  This can be done using the command: 

   @sys$startup:rje$startup
