OpenVMS ALPTTDR02_070 Alpha V6.1-V7.0 YSDRIVER ECO Summary

TITLE: OpenVMS ALPTTDR02_070 Alpha V6.1-V7.0 YSDRIVER ECO Summary NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file. The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha. Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which can be used to install the ECO. Copyright (c) Compaq Computer Corporation 1995, 1999. All rights reserved. System/Cluster Reboot Necessary: Yes ECO KIT SUMMARY: An ECO kit exists for YSDRIVER.EXE on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through V7.0. This kit addresses the following problem: Problems Addressed in ALPTTDR02_070: o Due to a problem with the port-driver-specific flow control logic, output will not stop until the end of an output burst when XOFF is received. Problems Addressed in ALPTTDR01_062: o TTA0 baud rates below 600 (that is, 50, 75, 150, or 300) do not work on the ALPHASERVER 2100. This problem has been fixed in OpenVMS Alpha V7.0. INSTALLATION NOTES: In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system must be rebooted. If the system is a member of an OpenVMS cluster, the entire cluster must be rebooted.
